Travelling in Finland... Ecological?

As you might now, I travell quite much around Finland, mostly by boat from Helsinki to the Åland Islands, but quite often to some other cities like Uusikaupunki, Turku, or Lahti...

What I have always wondered is how it can be som damned expensive to travel with the public transportation in Finland. For example, travelling from Helsinki to Lahti (128 km) is a bit under 14 €, Turku to Helsinki (164 km) 27,50 €...

I don´t have a car any longer, but I used to have one, and if I remember right, with 27,50 €, I was totally able to get from Turku to Helsinki with my old Nissan Sunny 1.6... so if you have an own car, why would you sit some strangers and risk you to get spread some contagious disease, instead of sitting comfortable in your own car by the same price? And when you are two... why to pay double???

Wouldn´t it be more reasonable to have a bit lower fares for the buses so that people would might think to leave their own cars home (or not to have car at all) and travel a bit more ecological?

Could some finn explain how can be cheaper to fly from Helsinki to Kittilä than taking a crappy-full with people bus?

Is 05.28 finnish time, I think I have been awake since 03.00 or something like that and does not look like I am gonna make it to sleep any longer.
Actually is not so bad, the night has something that day is missing, probably because everyone is quiet around and you are just with yourself...
Anyhow, the night is a good moment of the day (so ironic) to make decissions, for example wether to go or not to sleep, to stay home or to go out, to create a blog or not... Since I am not going to sleep (again) yet, and I am not definetly going out in the rainy Helsinki night... I decided to create a blog.

Creating a blog is a BIG decission, like having a kid... think how much time do you spend figuring out a name for it... Actually I have been thinking about creating a blog since I moved to Finland, so I have just needed ... let me count... 4 years, 9 months and 10 days in making up my mind, I hope is not gonna take that long to decide to have a kid.

Wny to have a log? Well, it might be because then your friends could be updated with what you are doing, or maybe because it will be nice to post some pics here, but let be honest... I think this is a fantastic way to remember what you have been doing, yes I admit it, I am getting old and I do not remember what I was doing yesterday, so why not to have a blog where to track you back?

There are also some more decisions to make (fuck, I am getting alreday stressed and I just started with this...) for example, in which language to write... yes, one of my main features is to be laguage schizophrenic, enjoying my days creating new multicultural ways to swear, but since Internet is global I will take in english even though some other language will show up for sure...

Then is this thing, which might be important... what to write about? shall I write about my daily life? About work? About my studies? About friends? About enemies? Shall the entries be connected to the reality? Shall I just philosophize? Well I have not made up my mind yet, so I will probably mixed (or messed) everythin up...
